PinLeague's Pinterest Analytics Suite Now Announcing Competitive Benchmarks!

Just this week, PinLeague announced the unveiling of the much awaited CompetitorBenchmark tool on the PinLeague Pinterest Analytics Dashboard. Learn how to make the insights work for you.

The new-and-improved PinLeague Analytics just got better with the addition of Competitor Benchmarks! The tool allows you to:

  • Compare followers, pins, repins, likes and comments over time
  • Compare virality and audience engagement
  • Track pins and pinners from competitive domains

 Profile Benchmarks

Knowing what’s going on with your competitors’ Pinterest profile can pay some serious dividends. The Profile Benchmarks tab graphically compares your follower number, number of pins pinned, amount of repins received and number of likes and comments within a given timeframe to your chosen competitors. From there, you can compare how many new followers your competitors gained, how much they’ve been pinning, new repins, likes and comments, as well as see their virality and how engaged their audience is compared to yours.

Have you noticed a jump (or dip) in your biggest competition’s follower numbers? Check out what they’re doing differently.  Are their comments increasing while yours stay stagnant? Maybe it’s time to get your audience chatting. Is your competitor running a contest? See is it’s effective. There’s a lot to be learned from following your competitions missteps and triumphs!

Domain Benchmarks

If your competitor doesn’t have a Pinterest page yet, never fear! With Domain Benchmarks, you can easily see how popular your website is compared to theirs, with or without a Pinterest presence.  On the Domain Benchmarks tab, you can compare how many pins are coming from their site, how many pinners are pinning from their site and the ratio of pins and pinners per day.

With the Domain Benchmarks, you can easily see changes in the behavior of your competitors’ fans. Maybe that jump in pins from their site means they began a Pinterest contest.  Or maybe they’ve just increased the quality of the images on their blog.  Regardless of the change, you’ll be in the know.
