This is actually ingenious, thank you so much! I can already see that it’s going to save me a lot of time.

That is a great tip, Cynthia. I do something similar, where I like a pin and go back later to read the article, verify it leads directly to the article, and decide if it’s truly useful to my readers. However, your method really helps put the blinders on for focused pinning! Thanks, for sharing!

My pleasure Melanie! It’s a challenge to stay focused with all of those tempting pins. I really appreciate your comment 🙂

Wow, that tip just literally blew my mind! I’ll be using it, and saying goodbye to pinning and crossing fingers that someone will see it when I pin it! Thanks Cynthia!

Great tip! And so simple, it has me saying, “Duh! Why didn’t I think of that?”. Putting it into effect NOW.

This is a fantastic idea!! Thanks so much. I had not thought of that but I do get lost when I get on Pinterest and do waste time (even though it’s fun to look at everything.) I will use this tip! Again, thanks for sharing this.

I’ve done a similar thing but I would simply edit the board I had pinned it to from my secret board to one of my public boards. Since I’m not rerunning, but just moving it to a public board, would the original pinned be notified?

      Hi Karen,

In the tests I have run, the original pinner is not notified when a pin is moved from a private board to a public board. Thanks for your question 🙂
