(You can read more about that and a realization I had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohsopinteresting.com\/new-adventures-realization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;\u2022Pinterest is passing Twitter in popularity<\/strong>. Is this a continuing trend or could it just be the timing of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/jeffbercovici\/2014\/06\/24\/still-more-data-shows-pinterest-passing-twitter-in-popularity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study<\/a>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022Pinterest Business Insights API opened<\/strong> to a limited group of <a href=\"https:\/\/social.taylorstrategy.com\/pinterest-opens-up-business-insights-api-for-select-marketers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3rd party companies<\/a>. Does this mean that pins scheduling and other analytics tools are soon on their way? Will they be affordable?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022Advertising on Pinterest through promoted pins<\/strong> coming soon? After months of promising promoted pins would be arriving to Pinterest, Vincent and I still have yet to see them. It had been reported that it would cost at least $1 million to participate and some Big name brands have already committed to the program. Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/business.pinterest.com\/en\/promoted-pins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pinterest has opened a survey<\/a> type form for US based businesses interested participating in the program. Will it be as accessible as Facebook advertising or limited to businesses with B=big budgets?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022Pinterest continues to attract investors and is now valued at $5 BILLION<\/strong>. What does this mean, more global expansion?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.pinterest.com\/post\/89887733084\/new-notifications-for-android-enthusiasts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2022Android users can now be notified <\/a><\/strong>when they are at a location that they have pinned as a place pin on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohsopinteresting.com\/10-creative-ways-to-use-the-pinterest-place-pins-feature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">map board.<\/a>&nbsp;This could be very useful to local businesses and in the travel industry.
