These sites grew to serve tens of thousands of monthly visitors seeking to improve their marketing efforts on Pinterest.\u00a0We\u2019re honored that they\u2019ve entrusted Tailwind as the new home for their communities.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10292\" src=\"https:\/\/twprod.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/PinAlerts-and-OhSoPinteresting-logos.jpg\" alt=\"PinAlerts and OhSoPinteresting logos\" width=\"720\" height=\"125\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Two Exciting Acquisitions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>PinAlerts<\/strong> helped marketers track the success of their content on Pinterest by notifying them of organic Pins saved from their domain. <strong>PinAlerts\u2019<\/strong> primary notification features are already served by the monitoring and notification features within Tailwind, as well as in part by new features added by Pinterest since the service was originally created. As such, we\u2019ll be sunsetting the PinAlerts service and will migrate member accounts to Tailwind.<\/p>\n<p>Sunsetting PinAlerts and moving user accounts to Tailwind will enable us to keep our time and attention\u00a0focused on adding value for both the PinAlerts community and our 100,000+ Tailwind members, rather than spending time maintaining two separate platforms. We hope to repeat the success of our acquisitions of PinClarity and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2013\/10\/17\/tailwind-buys-pinreach-as-pinterest-analytics-startups-consolidate\">PinReach<\/a>, whose users made the transition to becoming Tailwind members back in 2013.<\/p>\n<h2>Acquisitions that Support Tailwind&#8217;s Mission<\/h2>\n<p>Ultimately, these acquisitions are about supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tailwindapp.com\/about\">our mission<\/a> to help make world-class marketing easy for anyone.
