Have a burning question for your Instagram followers, or want to use polls to learn about your target market? Instagram Poll questions are the perfect way to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Instagram poll is a Story sticker that allows your followers to select one of two answers to a question of your choosing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poll question and the answers are customizable, so you can really use story polls for anything you can think of! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change the answers to yes or no, this or that or custom options as long as they\u2019re under 22 characters. You can even use emojis!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Here are the exact steps to add a poll on Instagram Stories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open Instagram Stories<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tap the Plus icon<\/strong> to create a Story<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Upload the photo or video for your background <\/strong>(tap the square in the bottom left corner of your screen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Tap on the Sticker Icon<\/strong> (smiley face) to open the sticker tray<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Select Poll<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Type your question or prompt<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Tap the blue \u201cYes\u201d<\/strong> and customize your answer<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    How to View Responses to Your Instagram Story Polls<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Instagram users have 24 hours to respond to your poll (the length of time an Instagram Story is live.) Once the 24 hours is up, you\u2019ll receive a notification with the final results of your poll. The poll will disappear from your Stories, but you\u2019ll be able to find it in your archive or your Instagram Story Highlights (if you\u2019ve saved it!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
