How to Make a Section in a Pinterest Board<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I said before that adding sections to your Pinterest Board is simple. It\u2019s also easy to move tons of Pins into your new sections, and even turn sections into their own Boards! I\u2019m covering all the how-tos you need to know below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Create Sections in Pinterest Boards<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to any Board on the mobile Pinterest app and tap the + Icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click “Add Section” from the drop-down menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Name your new Pinterest Section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select the Pins you want to move to the section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Tap “Done” to save your new Pinterest Board section<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    “Go to the Board you want to create a section for. Click \u201c+Section\u201d and name your section. Then within the larger Board, click the \u201cOrganize\u201d button.     You\u2019ll notice that when you find a new Pin to save, Pinterest Boards with sections will have an arrow next to them in your Boards List. If you tap this Board, you\u2019ll be able to choose the section you\u2019d like to add it to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On this screen, you can also add a new section to the Board!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This option isn\u2019t available for Boards you haven\u2019t set up sections on yet. Don\u2019t worry, you can always go in and add them later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Deleting Pinterest Board Sections<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To delete a Pinterest Board section in the Pinterest mobile app, here\u2019s what to do: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to the Board with the selection to be deleted<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Tap the section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Tap the \u201c…\u201d button at the top of your Board<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Select Edit<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Select \u201cDelete section\u201d and confirm. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Keep in mind, this will remove all your Pins in the section permanently. Move them all out first if you want to keep those Pins, or merge the board with another section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You can do this by selecting the Pins you want to keep, tapping edit, and moving them to another section or Board for safe-keeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How to Make a Section Into a Board on Pinterest<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Feeling like your section might be better off as a new, separate Board? It\u2019s simple to do! While you can\u2019t exactly flip a switch to turn a section into a new Board yet, there\u2019s a simple workaround – creating a new Pinterest Board, and moving all the Pins in your Board section to it! Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Create a new Board on Pinterest (name it something relevant and related to the Board section you\u2019re moving and the Pins therein!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Open the current Board with the section you\u2019d like to turn into its own Board<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Open the Section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click the Filter button at the top of the page (two sliders icon)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Click \u201cSelect Pins to Move or Delete\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Select each Pin in the section you\u2019d like to move<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. At the top of the screen, click \u201cMove\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      8. Select your recently created Board from the \u201cOther Boards\u201d section<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      9. Tap Save<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Once your Pins are saved to the new Board, you can delete the section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Do Pinterest Board Sections Help Your Pinterest Marketing?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
