No special steps are required! Remember that Pinterest wants fresh content, so create and save new products and blog posts to Pinterest consistently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One way to make sure you\u2019re Pinning consistently is to use a Pinterest-approved partner tool like Tailwind, which helps you Pin when your followers are most likely to engage. You can still enable Product Rich Pins on your sales pages! This will require a little bit of coding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-for-wordpress-users\">For WordPress Users<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First, see if the WordPress theme you are using adds header\/footer boxes to individual posts and pages. I use the Genesis Framework and this is one of the features it includes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your theme does not add header and footer boxes to posts and pages you\u2019ll need to install a plugin like Header and Footer Scripts <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/header-and-footer-scripts\">https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/header-and-footer-scripts\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, open up the page or post where people can purchase your product. Simply save this page to Pinterest and it will start showing up as a Product Rich Pin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven\u2019t previously applied for Rich Pins you will need to copy the URL and submit it to the Pinterest Validator<a href=\"https:\/\/developers.pinterest.com\/tools\/url-debugger\">.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-can-i-use-two-kinds-of-rich-pins-on-my-site\">Can I Use Two Kinds of Rich Pins on My Site?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can have Product Rich Pins <strong>and<\/strong> Article Rich Pins, just not on the same page\/post URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Articles\/blog posts will automatically show up as Article Rich Pins if you have also set up and applied for Article Rich Pins. Pins leading to product pages will show up as Product Rich Pins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a product for sale in a blog post and use the instructions above to manually add in the data for Product Rich Pins, the post will show up as a Product Rich Pin and not an Article Rich Pin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> sometimes Pinterest\u2019s crawler or system is delayed in updating Rich Pins info by 1-2 days.
