We&#8217;ve broken them down below, and included helpful links for each stage of the set-up! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-one-complete-the-charitable-giving-tools-instagram-application\"><strong>Step One: Complete the Charitable Giving Tools Instagram Application<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First things first &#8211; to get charitable giving from your followers, you&#8217;ll need to set up Charitable Giving Tools on Instagram (which is managed through Facebook). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Application requirements vary depending on the location of your nonprofit, grouped into three categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>US<\/strong> Nonprofits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>India Nonprofits<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nonprofits in <strong>Other Countries<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All the documentation you need for each category is listed out on the Facebook <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Nonprofit Fundraising Help (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/1251484118194936\" target=\"_blank\">Nonprofit Fundraising Help<\/a> page!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-two-link-your-instagram-account-to-your-nonprofit-facebook-page\"><strong> Step Two: Link Your Instagram Account to Your Nonprofit Facebook Page<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to add the Instagram Donation button to your profile (and use the stickers in Stories for your own fundraiser), you&#8217;ll need to have an Instagram business account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To take it one step further, y<strong>ou&#8217;ll also need to make sure your Instagram business account is linked to your official business Facebook page<\/strong>.
