Keep reading!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What Is Pinterest AR Try on?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pinterest AR Try on is a new augmented reality tool that allows users to try on products using their camera. The feature was first introduced in January 2020, and was limited to lipstick products.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a few weeks ago, Pinterest added eyeshadow products to the mix!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pinterest Try on is powered by <a href=\"https:\/\/help.pinterest.com\/en\/article\/pinterest-lens\">Pinterest Lens<\/a>, a built-in feature that uses your phone to find new ideas, recipes, outfits and more just by pointing your camera at an object. Try on takes the feature to a whole new level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tool partners with ModiFace to include high-quality rendering, skin tone range features and smart recommendations for products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In short, it\u2019s pretty awesome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who Can Use Pinterest Try on?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to get in on the Try on action, we have good news! For Pinners, the free feature is available in the mobile app on Pinterest and iOS. Just find a participating brand to experiment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you happen to be a brand interested in connecting your catalog to Pinterest Try on, you can do that too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the moment, Pinterest Try on is limited to lipstick and eyeshadow products, but the offerings and capabilities are sure to expand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New brands are being added to Try on all the time! All you have to do is complete the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply for Pinterest Try on (As a Brand!)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, applications for Pinterest Try on are on a case by case basis. First, you\u2019ll need to meet two basic requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Have a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tailwindapp.com\/blog\/personal-to-pinterest-business\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"6046\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Pinterest business account<\/a><\/li><li>Have your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tailwindapp.com\/blog\/pinterest-shopify-app\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"21312\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">product catalog<\/a> uploaded to Pinterest<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you meet these two requirements, great! You\u2019ll now need to reach out to your Pinterest account manager to let them know you\u2019re interested in Pinterest AR Try on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Use Pinterest Try On to Shop Makeup Looks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>If you want to use Pinterest Try on yourself to test out&nbsp; makeup&nbsp; looks from your favorite brands, you can find enabled&nbsp; products in three&nbsp; ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Through the Pinterest Search Bar<\/li><li>Enabled on Product Pins in your feed or Search<\/li><li>Through Pinterest Lens!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To try on a product, search for your favorite makeup brand with Try on enabled.
