Ladies, do you want to be festive while still appearing work-appropriate? Through Pinterest, we found a blog with the perfect solution. Always Expect Moore brought us the idea of the beaded shamrock earrings. These earrings are perfect because they show holiday spirit while still looking professional enough to wear to work or any other nice area. All you have to have is either gold or silver jump rings, some beading thread and a beading needle, some small green beads, some 28 gauge beading wire and two small jump rings to eventually attach to the earring wires. Although you don’t need them, wire cutters and pliers can be useful as well.

Want to continue the festive behavior with some green food? Mrs. Fields Secrets provides the recipe for holiday appropriate (and delicious!) cream puffs. It doesn’t take much to make them, either. All you need is a cup of water, a half a cup of butter, five to six drops of green food coloring, a cup of flour and four eggs. Once you have your ingredients, preheat your oven to 400 degrees and begin to boil the butter and water in a small saucepan. You will want to add your green food coloring in the mix as these ingredients are boiling. Once these items are boiling, stir in the flour into the mixture until it’s smooth. After you have completed this step, take the mixture off of the heat and beat the eggs in with an electric blender until the mixture is once again smooth. Then, scoop the dough out in heaping tablespoons and place them on a greased cookie sheet. You will want to bake them for about 35-35 minutes (until they’re golden brown).

Once they are out of the oven, let them cool completely. While they are cooling, you can get started on your filling. The filling Mrs. Fields provides requires one cup of well chilled heavy cream, three tablespoons of powdered sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla and one to two inches of split and stripped fresh vanilla bean. You will want to mix these ingredients on high speed in a chilled mixing bowl until stiff peaks are formed. Once all of the ingredients are mixed, you will want to chill until you are ready to serve.

To put the filling in the puffs, cut them open and spoon out any soft or doughy innards. Then, simply place the filling inside. Your St. Patrick’s Day Cream Puffs are complete!

Of course, these cream puffs can be made any of day of the year without the green food coloring, but eating them green on St. Patrick’s Day will certainly add some Irish to your day!

We have given you a way to dress and eat festive, and now we want to let your kids in on the fun. With this quick and easy craft from i heart naptime, your kids will get their fun share of St. Patrick’s Day without you stressing out. This is the easiest project yet- you only need three things: a bell pepper, some green paint and some paper. Simply cut the bell pepper in half, then let your child dip it in green paint and stamp it on the piece of paper! The result? It looks like four-leaf clovers all over the paper! You can choose to further decorate the painting with markers, glitter, etc. or leave it as it is. Either way, your kids get a fun and festive craft that allows you to explain what St. Patrick’s Day is all about. Enjoy!
