What to Post on Instagram – Jumpstart Challenge

What to Post to Instagram

It’s a fact – posting to Instagram every day is good for growth. According to a Tailwind original study, those who post to Instagram every day not only see 13 times as many likes, they also see a 42% bump in follower rate as compared to those who post less than once a week. And yet, even with those incredible stats, only 5% of those we studied were posting at least once per day!

Still, if you’ve ever tried to develop a strong Instagram strategy, you know coming up with content every day is challenging to say the least.  We hear it again and again – “I don’t know what to post to Instagram, I just don’t have enough content!”

With this in mind, we created the Jumpstart challenge to encourage Instagrammers to get into the habit of posting to Instagram once a day with the help of daily prompts.

Instagram marketers who have participated in our 30 day challenges in the past have seen amazing results. In total, past participants have earned 300,179 total likes and grew by 24,470 followersan average follower growth rate of 33% in one month! This is especially impressive considering that the average Instagram follower count grows by just 6-8% month over month, according to MarketingProfs.

The Instagram Jumpstart Challenge includes a 5-day email boot camp to get your Instagram Profile in tip-top shape, then 30 days of content ideas for the coming weeks. Weekly emails for the duration will keep you inspired and help you save time. By the end of the 30 days, you will have developed healthy Instagram habits and will see the benefits of your efforts!

Interested in seeing what kinds of things you’ll be posting? We’ve included the first week of content ideas below! For 30 days you’ll know exactly what to post to Instagram – you’ll have a plan.

Oh, you’ll also want to start your free trial of Tailwind for Instagram  – you won’t believe how much time it will save you!

Question about ‘regramming’ and pinning. My blog is brand new and I definitely need to build up some unique content BUT I’m also not sure where/how everybody gets soooo much content to post, pin, regram.. What’s legal?

      Hey Rebecca,

Repinning to Pinterest and Reposting to Instagram work pretty differently. Repinning on Pinterest is encouraged and you don’t need to ask permission to Repin someone’s Pin. Content is on there to be shared! However, because Instagram is based on users personal photos, you do need to ask permission before reposting an image. That can be done through a comment on the photo, a direct message on Instagram, or you can try contacting them via email. The majority of people will be happy to let you repost, but it’s always best to ask 🙂
