Pinterest Toolbar Chrome: Install the Pin It Button

The Pinterest toolbar is a quick and easy way to pin photos to your pinboards in seconds from almost any website that features images. Using the Pin It button allows you to pin an image directly from the site it is displayed on without having to go back to your Pinterest account first. Pinterest Toolbar Chrome also helps you easily share the pin on Facebook or Twitter if you have those accounts linked to your Pinterest account. To quickly install the Pinterest toolbar Chrome plug-in follow these easy steps:

Sign into your Pinterest account in the usual way. Next, click on the box with three lines in the top left corner of your page. A drop down menu will appear and at the bottom of the menu find “About”. Click on that link.

After the page loads, you should see a large image with the title “Pinterest Browser button.” Click on the image.

Then you will first see a red “Get our browser button.” Once you click on that button, a “Pin it Button” box will drop down. Click “Add” and then it will begin to download.

After the download is completed the Pinterest Toolbar should be in Chrome.
